About Me

Hi,  I'm Anne-Marie Ferraro, and I am delighted that you are here!  My journey to becoming a mom coach was inspired by my nearly eighteen years of working as a full time Professional Nanny in Central Florida.  During my time as a nanny, I have worked with infants as young as three weeks old, teenagers, and every age in between.  Much of my time as a nanny has been spent working with babies and children in their early and most formative years.  I believe that this time in a child's life from infanthood throughout the preschool years is of utmost importance.  It is at this time that children's minds and bodies are growing and developing rapidly. Their manners, personalities, and character are being strongly formed and will very much carry into who they become as they grow into older children, teenagers, and eventually adults.

Born in Nashua, New Hampshire, I am the youngest of three and one of more than thirty cousins.  I am also an auntie to four nieces and two nephews, which is one of my most favorite things to be!  Coming from such a large family, much of my childhood was spent around babies and children starting at a very young age.  As a small child when my Mom would take us to the mall or out for ice cream, I would always spot any babies that were there and run to go see them and pet them on their sweet little heads.  My Mom would have to remind me that I needed to ask permission of the parents before touching their baby!  I was always greeted with warm smiles and giggles from parents in reaction to my excitement over their little one.  My love of babies and children continued to grow, so when I was old enough I began to babysit.  Throughout my Junior High and High School years, I babysat regularly gaining much experience with little ones along the way.  It is this experience and my natural comfortability and love for children that led me to start working as a Professional Nanny.  Throughout my life, beginning at a very young age, I have also had a strong passion and love for storytelling and the performing arts.  This is something that I have been able to incorporate in my work with children over the years in making up fun stories for them, playing pretend with them, and helping to ignite their imaginations.  I absolutely love reading!  Opening up the world of reading and the joy that it brings has been such a blessing to share with the children in my life. Writing is another thing that I deeply enjoy.  I am so grateful for my High School English Teacher, Mrs. Davis, who pushed us above and beyond and is ultimately why I have a passion for writing. I write for enjoyment and I also blog for two local businesses.  I am a  Christian and I’m very grateful for the loving and faith filled background that my parents brought me up in.  I had a genuinely happy childhood and wish the same for every child.  Childhood is a precious time and it is here for but a moment.  My work with children and teens outside of babysitting and nannying has  included being a Junior Varsity Cheerleading Coach, a Summer Camp Counselor for teenage girls,  teaching etiquette classes at local tea rooms, teaching babysitting classes for tweens and teens annually at our local library, and performing on stage in plays and musicals alongside children in many local community theatre productions.  I have also been performing  as princesses, fairies, and other characters for many years at children's birthday parties and at local tea room events.

My inspiration for coaching moms came from my many years of working for moms and with moms.  I have been front and center as a nanny seeing the many daily challenges, difficulties, questions, and decisions that every mom faces.  I have been there to celebrate the milestones with them and work through the setbacks. The frustrations, the joys, the tears, the heartaches, the laughter, there is so very much that moms experience.  Whether a stay at home mom , or working mom, each come with unique responsibilities and challenges.  The hard work of raising children to become healthy, happy, and emotionally whole individuals is so incredibly important, and so very challenging!  I take great joy in standing alongside moms as they navigate these unsure waters of motherhood.  It is my deep desire to see moms living their most confident, happy, and balanced lives both as a parent and as a woman.  I'm so glad that you are here!
